Our Life This Summer

So to start, I will write a little to catch everyone up on life:

It has been a CRAZY summer. So many activities to cram into such a short time... School is about to start, for both Isaiah and Eric. Alas, this also means my sanity is also reaching its end. We have made a trip to California to visit wonderful friends, Jatin and Amy. While there we were able to go to Disneyland, Sea World and the beach (Isaiah's first experience in the ocean and salt water). We have went camping, went to Ohio numerous times, saw my middle beautiful sister graduate and give her Senior recital and recently attended the Troyer reunion (which was absolutely fantastic!!) Our biggest news is probably that we are now proud dog owners of a Bull MAstiff-Doberman mix breed named Jeb. Those of that you know me well realize I am far from a "dog person" and he has truly been a test of patience and understanding. Our first 12 hours with him were filled with drama (too much to recount here and you would be missing out if you were not privy to my sound effects and gestures).

Isaiah is now 6 ("and 1/2") and has been involved in swimming, T-ball (bball in the winter), playing outside, riding his bike. He will be starting 1st grade in just a couple of weeks and has already told me he doesn't want to go back to school Does it really start this early? Eric has also been enjoying his break from school and loving all the projects I am finding for him. I continue to be involved in yoga and our church worship team. I am also bound and determined to love blogging (and to be as dedicated as I am able...)
