After two years of nothing...and I mean NOTHING...my roses bloomed! Aren't they fun?! You can see the bright red blooms as you walk to our back door and they make me smile. They make me feel as though I may have a green thumb after all...unfortunately as far as I know I have done nothing to make them bloom so maybe it's just the wishing...although I did cut them back last year (thinking that it made me "feel" greenthumb-ish)...hmmm....

Blooms!

You know how everyone says roses are hard? Well they are the only thing I've gotten to succeed! I just leave them alone and they bloom. Maybe I should leave my tomatoes alone too...
